Reducing Mental Health Stigma:
When people think about mental health, they can often think of mental illness and the stigma associated. We’re here to change that by encouraging conversations and raising awareness of the mental health issues affecting everyday Australians.
98% of our participants said that mental illness was destigmatised after completing The Push-Up Challenge.
The Impact:
The Haynes team were met with overwhelming support from their network of family, friends, the community, and coworkers. Over 6000 workplaces joined Haynes in this years Push-Up Challenge and over 44,000 employees.
Rebecca Pace, General Manager of Haynes says “The Push-Up Challenge was a great way to embrace a healthier lifestyle while supporting a worthwhile cause. It brought the team together and we had a lot of fun.”
By the end of the 30-day challenge, Haynes raised a total of over $1325. The funds collected will be directed towards Lifeline, Movember and the Push for Better Foundation.
